Composite Geomembrane
Geotextile-laminated polymer barrier for integrated seepage control, mechanical protection and civil engineering installation.
View details →VABREN manufactures and supplies textured HDPE geomembrane for landfill slopes, tailings facilities, wastewater ponds and water-containment projects. Choose single-sided or double-sided rough surfaces, or an embossed studded configuration. Compare thickness, asperity height and roll dimensions, then send your project specification for a quotation.
Textured HDPE geomembrane is a low-permeability polyethylene liner with a controlled rough surface on one or both sides. The texture is used where the lining design requires greater interface interaction with soil, geotextile, drainage composite or another adjacent layer.
A single-textured liner combines one rough face with one smoother face, allowing different interface conditions on each side. A double-textured liner provides rough surfaces on both faces where increased interaction is required above and below the liner. The selected structure must match the slope design and adjoining materials.
The asperities increase surface roughness and can improve interface friction compared with a smooth liner. Actual slope stability depends on project-specific interface testing, normal stress, drainage, anchorage, subgrade preparation, cover materials and installation quality; surface texture alone does not establish the final factor of safety.
Typical applications include landfill side slopes and caps, tailings and mining facilities, wastewater ponds, reservoirs, secondary containment, heap-leach systems, dams, steep-slope lining and other environmental or civil works requiring both seepage control and enhanced interface interaction.
Select the liner around the contained medium, slope geometry, exposure condition, nominal thickness, single- or double-textured surface, required asperity, adjoining soil or geosynthetic layers, interface test data, anchorage and welding plan.
Prepare a stable, smooth subgrade and protect the liner from sharp objects. Confirm roll orientation before deployment so the required textured face contacts the correct adjoining layer. Thermal seams, details, repairs and seam testing should follow the approved method statement without damaging or contaminating the textured surface.
Textured geomembrane is supplied in protected rolls with the surface type and roll orientation identified. Core support, roll labels, lifting arrangement and container loading are confirmed according to the selected thickness, dimensions and transport route.
Please send the application, slope geometry, adjacent materials, single- or double-textured requirement, nominal thickness, asperity requirement, roll width and length, quantity, destination and any interface-friction or project specification.
Catalog reference values for preliminary selection, transcribed from the supplied GH-2T1 / GH-2T2 schedule. These are requirements, not measured batch results or a certification.
Single-sided texture provides one rough interface; double-sided texture provides rough surfaces on both faces. Embossed studded geomembrane uses a regularly patterned surface. Select the face orientation to suit the adjoining layers and slope design.
| Surface construction | Thickness | Roll width | Roll length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single- or double-sided rough texture | 1.0–3.0 mm | 1–8 m | 50–100 m |
| Embossed / studded HDPE geomembrane | 0.8–3.0 mm | 1–8 m | 50–100 m |
Custom roll sizes are available for review. The reference table also lists 0.75 mm and 1.25 mm; confirm availability and the required surface construction with your inquiry.
